Abundant and native. Grassland with Rhus lanca, Olea europaea, Ehretia rigida and Ziziphus mucronata. Shrub 3 m high, 5 cm at DBH, bark smooth and greyish, roots brown and brittle. Simple leaves alternate, leaf margin dentate. Solitary flowers with 5 free, mauve petals. Fruita4-lobednut. Hendrik J.
