Stipules appearing : shivelled* with reddish margin, upper nodes with pendant inflorescences. Flowers cymose* held in a very flat head facing down. Sepals pale green* reflexed. Corolla cream* cup-shaped slightly spreading at the apices* petals 23 July 1987 Pete Phillipson 2103 MISSOURI BOTANICAL GARDEN HERBARIUM (MO) imbricate. Copious nectar produced* flower smelling strongly and sweetly of biscuits.
