Habítete. Semi-scandent, weak-stemmed: shrub, up to 10* ,
stems 1W diam. st base. Bark + smooth, dark grey with lightei
grey patches. Slash, OB, paper thin, dark brown IB bright
red-brown, with pale fibrous streaks, 0*3 cm Immature fr.
green.
Habitat small group of shrubs around jb'Bise of
Crossopteryx febrifuga in open contact savanna between the
mopane woodland & Si burn !Tmutemwaff, with Xeromphis, Pavetta
assimilis, Pppowia . Dialiopsis etc. near mopane,
Djplorfeynchus, C ombre turn apiculatum etc. on red basalt clay
with heavy quartz float. Lower down the slope the soil
becomes seasonally waterlogged.
