Determined at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, England Herbarium op the University of California TANGANYIKA, AFRICA Northern Province Elaeodendron On hillside on rocky soil. Large tree to 30 feet tall, thickly growing* truck sin- gle, sap colourless, bark rough, slip red, wood white* leaves 1imp, bright green, glossy* flowers pale greenish-yellow,, aromatic.
