Habitetc.Tree, 30*, several main stems up to 12" d.b
h.o.b., poor form, well developed open rounded crown. Bark
dark grey, fairly rough on bole, smoother & pale grey on
branches. Slash OB, 0*2 cms. IE»bright salmon pink, granu-
lar, 1 cm. In fir. & bud, petals pale waxy green, gynoecium
dker. green, stamens yellow.
Habitat Dominating a fairly large (1+0 yd.) anthill in
P7 woodland, with Commiphora, Oarissa edulis, Capparis
tomentosa5 Markhamia, Ziz.yphus mucronata etc.
A most uncommon tree in this area.
