On gentle hill slope, well-drained stony soil, granite loam. Full sun. Occasional.
Native. Savanna with Gymnosporia, Melhania, Euclea, Acacia, Delchampia,
Schotia and Cymbopogon.
Perennial scrambler/twiner, 2 cm long stems. Leaves simple, opposite, elliptic, 2-
3 xlcm, leaf margins entire. Stipules ovate. Flowers pentamerous, free, yellow.
Winged fruit.
