On moderate northern mountain slope in full sun. In well-drained rocky soil of
black calcrete sand in between rocks. Native. Mountain desert.
Dwarfshrubof60cmhigh. Petiole IS mm long. Trifoliately compound leaves
opposite, leaflet margins entire. Interpetiolar stipules present and form whorls at
each node. Purple flowers solitary, 12 mm across, petals free.
