In pasture, occasional. Native. Succulent Karoo with Sarcocaulon, Ehrharta, Dimorphotheca, Rhus, Fagonia and Mesembryanthemaceae. Shrub, 2 m high. Leaves alternate, compound, trifolate. Leaflets blueish-green, about 5 mm long. Stem thorns present. Papilionaceous flowers, pale yellow, in racemes. Fruit a pod. H.J. Venter 9609 10 September 2001 00210945
