Description
Sprawling and scandent over thickets of open dry ridges; stems green, less than 1/2 inch thick, tough; green peticles erect; the leaflets subcoriaceous, flat, darker green on the back; rigid flowering stalk green and strongly recurved; calyx green, thick; petals pink, caducous; flowers erect, odorless; pods also erect, usually in pairs and divergent, yellowish green, subterete, doubly ridged along the ventral suture, leathery; beans encased in a thin dry whitish parchment like membrane, yellowish, with dark brown streaks.
