    Tree 12 m tall, 9 cm dbh. Outer bark light reddish-brown. Inner bark pale yellow. Wood aromatic, garlic. Leaves dark green above, shiny. Calyx pale greenish-yellow, pilose. Corolla lobes recurved. Stamens 2 cm long, yellow. Fragrant.
