On plateau along roadside, in foil sun. Well-drained soil of aeolian sand.
Grassland with Hertia, Eragrostis, Bulbine, Sporobolus and Digitaria.
Perennial dwarf shrub, 30 cm high. Thick adventitious roots develop from
prostrate stems. Leaves alternate, trifbliately compound with leaflets obovate.
Flowers solitary, papilionaceous, blue-purplish. Native and occasional to
common.
