Grassland with Hertia, Eragrostis, Bulbine, Sporobolus and Digitaria. Perennial dwarf shrub, 30 cm high. Thick adventitious roots develop from prostrate stems. Leaves alternate, trifbliately compound with leaflets obovate. Flowers solitary, papilionaceous, blue-purplish. Native and occasional to common. H. J. Venter 9632 IS November2001 00210917
