  • Description

    A scandent shrub...; stem terete, repeatedly branched, 3 inches thick; wood soft, porous, bendable, cremeus, odourless and tasteless; bark relatively thick, cremeus on the inner side, whitish for the middle portion, smooth and greenish grey mottled on the outside; branches long, freely re-branched, sprawling and their free end drooping; leaves horizontal or sub-pendant, sub-chartaceous, flat but tips strongly recurved, dull green slightly paler beneath; pods pendant, green, usually 1-seeded but occasionally 2.
