Deciduous woodland at grassland margin
on limestone. Alt. 220 m.
Spindly shrub to 2 m x 3 cm (up to a
tree 5 m x 5 cm). Bark smooth, mottled
grey. Mid-green feathery foliage.
Corolla and calyx whitish cream,
filaments white, anthers yellow, ovary
pink with white hairs. Basal sterile
flowers with long white filaments.
Flowers sweetly scented. Fruits
elastically dehiscent from apex.
