Field Char: Tree 25 m tall, dbh 35 cm, bark gray,
finely striate, smoothish, slash pink brown.
Fruits green, turning red, then blackish red.

Habitat: Premontane forest along ridge and
slopes with a number of deciduous
species, canopy height 25-30 m.
