medium-sized, glabrous, spreading tree. Leaves alternate, pinnate, leaflets
ovate, up to 15 or more cm. long, acute, petiolules about 5 mm. long. Flowers
yellow, about 3 cm. wide, on long, slender pedicels, in pendulous, racemose clusters
or more cm. long. Pod cylindrical, up to 50 or more cm. long and 1 or more cm. thick.
