Cultivated in form garden, on gentle hill slope, in lull sun. Well-drained soil of
sandy sandstone loam. Nama Karoo to grassland.
Perennial herb, up to 15 cm high. Leaves alternate, trifoliately compound, deep
green, leaf margins dentate, stipules present. Propagated by runners. Flowers
solitary, corolla white, numerous stamens yellow. Fruit an aggregate of achenes,
red, freshy. Exotic.
