  • Habitat

    Mesic hardwood forest on stream terrace at base of NE-facing slope. Growing with Cardamine concatenata, C. douglasii, Ranunculus hispidus nitidus, Thalictrum thalictroides, Erythronium rostratum, E. albidum, Trillium recurvatum, Prenanthes crepidinea, Carex spp., etc.

    Locally common. Concentrated in patches. Plants dioecious.
