    Open stream channel just downstream from beaver dam (dam has created a large, open marsh in the middle of a degraded seasonally wet prairie [former orchard, hayfield, pasture, etc.]). Growing with Elodea nuttallii.

    Locally common in patches. Plants submerged, except flowers/fruit which were emergent.

This site retains a number of low prairie elements and is under consideration
to be some sort of hybrid conservation/recreation area. Detailed site report
