    Herbaceous seepage wetland at edge of shrubby, spring-fed pond (impounded baygall). Growing with Triadenum virginicum, Dichanthelium lucidum, Ilex verticillata, Carex atlantica capillacea, C. stricta, Xyris sp., Smilax laurifolia, Myrica heterophylla, Osmundastrum cinnamomea, Osmunda regalis, Woodwardia virginica, W. areolata, etc.

    Locally common at N edge of wetland. Plants cespitose, forming large clumps.
