Habitat
Low, wet thicket in degraded seasonally wet prairie (former hayfield, pasture, etc.). Growing with Juncus effusus, Carex spp., Scirpus georgianus, Ludwigia alternifolia, Andropogon cf. hirsutior, Pyrus calleryana, Rubus serissimus, Acer saccharinum, Gleditsia triacanthos, Ulmus rubra, Juniperus virginiana, & Diospyros virginiana.

Description
Single larger tree, 12-15 ft. tall with multiple trunks to 3" diameter, surrounded by 6 smaller individuals.

One of two clumps found on site (see also Witsell 15-0583), which is under consideration to be some sort of hybrid conservation/recreation area.
