Habitat
in wooded and heavily thicketed ravine slopes.

Description
Shrub like tree; branches rufous brown densely covered with lighter brown colored lenticels; leaves submembranous, descending, shining dark green on the upper side, much paler beneath; pods augur like and wavy, not rigid, shining smooth, orange red (quite showy!) inflorescence green, the greenish yellow flowers of very short duration.
