-southwest of Laingsburg, along the Wittenberg road.
Ca 700 m elevation.
Taprooted perennial. Sepals 5, rich purple. Petals
none. Stamens 5 pairs, one pair in each sinus between
the sepals. Ovary with 5 stigmas.
