    Small tree 6 m, 7 cm dbh. Outer bark greenish-brown, lightly cracking. Inner bark pale peach. Wood spiced aroma. Leaves dull dark green above, mid-rib raised, light green beneath. Flower bud pale yellow. Petals maroon. Stigma yellow.
