    Rather undisturbed primary forest c. 35m high, with little undergrowth. Terrain sloping. deep volcanic soil.

  • Description

    Tree 40 m high. Clear bole 23 m, 48 cm dbh, buttresses out and high to 80 cm. Outer bark to 1 mm thick, dark brown, rather fissured, not peeling off. Inner bark 9 mm thick, out dark red, in ochrish with little redbrown exudate. Fruit youn to mature, brown.
