    Tree 8 m tall, 7 cm dbh. Outer bark greyish-brown, lichen covering much, rugose and fissured. Inner bark reddish-yellow. Latex pale orangish-red. Twigs with orang-red tomentose. Leaves thick; undersurface light green, tomentose orange; uppersurface dark green, hispid. Photo flower, bark, slash.
