Bole straight to base. Inflorescence axillary, paniculate to nearly 10 cm length. Flowers male (species dioecious), bright yellow. Notes: One of three species refered to as ’guma’. Wood of all three species used for house construction. Locality: New Ireland; main ridge north of Garuka Village. Habitat: Along ridgeline. c. 300 m, 4°11’S X 142°44’E Local Names: "’guma’" (Waskuk) W. Takeuchi & J.
