More or less disturbed primary forest c. 35m high, on margin and slope of deep ravine. Deep clayey volcanic soil.

Description
Tree 20 m high. Clear bole 8 m, 38 cm dbh, without buttresses. Outer bark 0.2 mm thick, greyish black, not fissured. Inner bark 12 mm thick, reddish, without exudate, with radiating rays. Flower bud gren. Flowers ochre. Fruits ?mature, green. Young leaves very light green.
