More or less disturbed primary forest c. 35 m high, on margin and slope of deep ravine. Deep clayey volcanic soil.

Description
Tree 15 m high. Clear bole 5 m, 20 cm dbh, without buttresses. Outer bark 0.2 mm thick, dark grey-brown, without fissures, not peeling off. Inner bark 10 mm thick, ochre mottled light brown, without exudate, fragrant. Flowers pale green. Fruits young, green.
