  • Description

    Tree 30 m high, 1 m diam. Dead bark smooth, lenticellate grey-brown, 1 mm thick. Living bark, beefy read [red], 10 mm thick; white sapwood. Inside of dead bark yellowish white. Buttresses small, 30 cm high, 50 cm out, 10 cm thick. Young leaves purple. Flower buds green, somewhat purplish.
