    Shrub 4 m tall, fl. pale yellow. Inner petal cohering by apical margins (forming mitriform cap) stamen 6, (outer 3; staminoid) ovary 3 (with 2 ovules) hairy. Chromosome no. 2n=18 (voucher specimen).
