  • Description

    Tree 20 m, diam. 15 cm. Bark smooth, lightbrown. Flower pedicel 3-3, 5 cm long, thickened towards top, green with brown hairs (apex 5 mm diam.); base for 1 cm half covered by the adnate bracteole, of which the free part is broadly ovate, 6 mm long, brown. Calyx lobes yellowish brown, ovate-orbicular, about 1 cm in diam., hardly acutish, fleshy. Petals elliptical, 4-5 cm long, 3 cm wide, base slightly tapering, expanded, white. Mitral lobes trapesoid to hastate, 2 1/2 cm.
