Disturbed forest on red clay soil 100 ft.
Treelet 20 ft. Girth 8n. Terminalian branching very
conspicuous. Branches ascending. Bark smooth,
greyish-brown lenticellate, the lenticels paler.
Inner bark pale greenish-cream. No white sap.
Sapwood dirty pale cream. Twigs rather scaly, pale
grey-brown, conspicuous lenticels. Lvs. in dense
terminal spirals, shining mid* to dark green
above, paler below.
FIs. in axillary cymose panicles to 6", erect.
Axes green« K. green* C. pale yell*,recurved
somewhat. Sta. tube pale yell. Pleasant scent.
