More or less disturbed primary forest c. 35 m high, on margin and slope of deep ravine. Deep clayey volcanic soil.

Description
Tree 20 m high. Clear bole 12 m, 26 cm dbh. Outer bark brownish grey, 0.3 mm thick, somewhat fissured, not peeling off. Inner bark 6 mm thick, ochrish mottled brownish, without exudate. Sapwood ochrish, 6 mm thick, well marked from the brownish ochre heartwood; fine light rays present.
