WHITE MOUNTAINS: along road at mouth of Cottonwood Creek canyon, 2.3 air
miles N4°E of Gilbert Pass summit, Fishlake Valley watershed. Locally common to
dominant in drainage bottoms and roadsides. Sandy granitic alluvium sloping 2°
northeast in canyon bottom.
