A tree climber in dry woods of • ridge at 1500 faat along tbs Baraeatan creek; stem 1 Inoh thick, a ah tereta, quite rigid;' wood porous, with radiating white Teasels; hark gray, thinly oheeked longitudinally, with latex and •veetiah in taste; branches far reaching, green, inclined to twist, ultimately drooping; petioles terete, green, AiTsrieste or asoending, thickened and mush twisted at the base; leaves horizontally spreading, eerieeeoaa flat or only reourvad toward tha apex, dark green above, mush lighter beneath; infrutesoenoe olustered on the stem, 6 to 9 spikes arising from tha same plaea, 1 to 3 feat leng, hanging, green; pedicels divaricate yellowish green; tlpe fruits shilling lemon yellow, fully l/B inoh in diameter, perfectly globose; the solitary atone flattened, surrounded by yellow swoot meat; "Qalumpangi;” Todays, ELMER’S FIELD NOTES 04724418
