By: Soejarto, September 8, 1992 Field char: Tree 20 m tall, dbh 50 cm, low-branched with c. 2 m main trunk, crown widespreading. Bark gray-brown, slash pale brown. Inflorescences ramiflorous, flower buds greenish white. Notes: Open flowers with light green calyx, and reflexed white corolla and stamen tube. Locality: Luzon: Quezon Province, Quezon National Park, 25 km east of Lucena. Habitat: Closed-canopied, mixed Diterocarp forest. Canopy height c. 30 m. 200-300 m,013657’N X 121°50’E D.D.
