Description
Suberbaceous perennial; stems several, erect, terete, the larrger 1 inch thick and 2 yards high, branched from below the base; the bark green and smooth as is also the wood and especially the large pith; slender twigs more or less strongly recurved, easily breaking with a snap; leaves subcoriaceous, pale green on both sides, curvingly folded upon the upper side; young fruits green, the ripe ones flatty globose and snowberry white; juicy.
