Alt. 500-700m (1650-2300') JT b) Mesic open Betula pendula—Populus tremula—Pinus sibirica—-P. sylvestrls forest (rarely burned and grazed) with boreal forest (N-slope) and montane meadow (S-slope) vegetation. Assoc, spp.: Crepis hastata, Aeoniturn septentrionale (A. excel sum) , A. barbatum, Anemone narcissif lora, Diantbus superbus, Saussurea parviflora, Ledum palustre, Vaccinium vitis-idea, Zigadenus sibiricus. Top of ridge E of lookout.
