Southeast of camp along bank of Sungai Ella. 0°37'S 112°15'E Alt: 280 m Habitat: Mixed dipterocarp forest, associates include Euphorbiaceae, Dilleniaceae, Myrtaceae, Burseraceae. Red clay soil. Field Char: Tree 12 m tall, 14 cm dbh. Outer bark brown, flaking. Inner bark light yellowish-brown. Leaves coriaceous, light green beneath, deeply ribbed. Mid- rib raised on both sides.
