Habitat:
Old secondary forest, associates include
Euphorbiaceae, Moraceae, Rubiaceae, Meliaceae.
Red clay soil.
Field Char:
Small tree 4 m tall, 3 cm dbh. Outer bark brown.
Longitudionally flaking. Leaves leathery, stiff.
Flower bud light green to yellow, pink at the apex.
Fruit brownish-red.
Notes:
Local name: Lelagan darah. Fruit edible.
