    Small tree 7 m, 10 cm dbh. Bark light grey, thin, flaking in large pieces. Inner bark light yellowish-orange. Wood bitter scent. Leaves light green beneath. Calyx violet pink. Petals white, recurved to calyx, anthers purple.
