Habitat:
Old secondary forest, associates include Sapindaceae,
Anacardiaceae, Fagaceae. Red caly soil.
Field Char:
Climber, 4 m long. Leaves chartaceous, venation
beneath red, distinctly visible. Calyx cream colored,
small red gland dots on calyx and pedicel. Petals
white. Mature fruit bright purple.
