Habitat:
Mixed dipterocarp forest, associates include Shorea,
Meliaceae, Myrtaceae. Red clay soil.
Field Char:
Small tree 2 m tall, 3 cm dbh. Outer bark brownish-
green, smooth. Inner bark pale brown. Flowers
fasiculate. pedicel and young bud salmon-pink.
Corolla white. Anthers deep purple, pores yellow.
