Lincoln County, Mahogany Mountains, above Deer
Lodge Canyon Road, 1.8 road miles SW of its
intersection with Hackett Ranch Road, at TIN, R70E,
S34 NE1A, 37.9036 -114.1182 WGS84, 6535 feet
elevation.
Plants occasional in cracks and in sand and gravel on
an open SW-facing hillside of volcanic tuff
outcroppings, with infrequent pinyon pine. Sympatric
(within a few meters) with E. microthecum var.
arceuthinum.
