Field Char : Liana 6-15 m tall. Twigs drooping.
Tomentum red-brown. Calyx and ovary brown
tomentulose. Petals pale, pink-white,
filaments white, anthers purple-brown.
Notes: Common.
Locality: Sumatra: Sekundur Forest Reserve, E.
side of Gunung Leuser Natural Park; Langkat,
Prov. N. Sumatra; base camp at Aras Napal;
Upper Besitang River Area.
Habitat: Dryland forest margin, along old
logging road, in c. 15 years old
logged-over lowland forest,
