Gray) Greene subsp. setosissima MOJAVE SUNBONNETS WHITE MOUNTAINS: bottom of Jeffrey Mine Canyon along road, 1.4 mile S86°W of Jeffrey Mine map marker, Hammil Valley - Owens Valley watershed. Abundant in extensive populations this year. Disturbed rocky light colored calcareous metamorphic colluvium in and near road bed sloping 5° west in mixed desert shrubland, with Eriogonum inflatum, Psorothamnus arborescens, Eriogonum fasciculatum polifolium, Ericameria teretifolia, Stephanomeria pauciflora, Mirabilis laevis, Pappostipa speciosa, Bromus tectorum, etc. Low bushy annuals, corollas lavender to nearly white.
