By: Field Char: Climber; leaves moist-textured, slightly fleshy, dark glossy green above, medium green below, non-stinging; flowers yellow-green in bud; fruits not seen; stems long and slender, somewhat smooth. Notes: An occasional, diffusely distributed species, most sightings in early flower. Locality: Morobe province; hills adjacent to the Busu river, near Bumayong settlement. Habitat: Advanced regrowth in lowland hill forest within mostly intact canopy, subsistence plot and logging disturbance in more accessible forest section, tall-statured overstory with somewhat open understory, c. 200 m, 6°38’S X 147°00’E W.
