SW facing 10-30° slope
Subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest
Disturbed by felling.
Forest dominated by Rhododendron, Sorbus, Quercus, Lyonia,
and bamboo.
Shrub ca. 3 m tall. Fruit pale green. Occasional. Growing on
ridge top in under forest in shade.
In loam on marble.
