    Tree 20 m high, diameter 50 cm. Bark rough, peeling off, brownish. Living bark 1 cm, reddish brown, inside yellowish-brown. Buttresses 2 m high, spreading 2 m over the ground. Wood pale brown. Frs. green, stigma persistent, brown.
