Near field station, near top of plateau. 10° 38.0'N, 104° 01.4' E Altitude: 1046 m. Sclerophyllous stunted forest on rocky sandy soil. Tree 5 m tall, 30 cm dbh. Bark brown, flaking. Young stems orange. Petioles red. Leaves mid-green above, much paler beneath. Fruit glaucous, ripening black.
